Digital Sales Manager

Observer is looking for a Sales Manager with a proven track record of building and scaling multi-platform digital business.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how to package and sell an integrated selection of media products including video, mobile, experiential and social.   A proven ability to leverage your existing media relationships while developing new business, and to expertly manage the post-sale process are priorities. 

We are interested in candidates with established agency and client relationships in the following categories: Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Wine & Spirits, Technology/B2b Tech, Jewelry & Watches, CPG, Corporate Responsibility, Advocacy & Public Policy


  • Prospect, build and scale key accounts
  • Stay ahead of the curve on marketplace trends relating to their clients' industries
  • Consistently innovate creative approaches and solutions to drive revenue growth
  • Identify new business opportunities based on analysis of previous campaigns
  • Accurately forecast revenue from both media and custom programs
  • Proactively anticipate custom needs and identify potential issues
  • Help establish and promote best practices and processes to ensure excellent client support and communication


  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in digital media sales
  • Experience closing/managing large RFP’s and native programs
  • Ability to efficiently complete the sales process utilizing the internal support teams
  • Able to oversee multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to converse with internal departments, as well as with clients/agencies
  • Ability to independently build a large pipeline of outbound leads, pursue and close
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is a fast growing digital platform reaching affluent consumers with compelling and influential content.
