User Experience Designer
The Technology group at Observer Media is seeking a Graphic Designer. We are responsible for serving content and services to millions of visitors every month at Observer.com and CommercialObserver.com. You will be providing creative support to the Product team, including developing designs and creative assets for our web and mobile products. This role will be instrumental at developing the visual experience and user experience for several products.
Ability to work quickly and creatively with images and language in Google Doc, Illustrator and Photoshop
Excellent skills at designing wireframes, creating product mockups, and creative assets for our digital content
Familiarity with the principles of prototyping or wireframing
Understanding of and experience with visual storytelling
Ability to manipulate images, create mockups of web pages, or other new assets
Excellent organizational skills and comfort working collaboratively and iteratively
Capable of synthesizing business, brand and user objectives into seamless and simple user flows
Strong grasp of marketing is expected, familiarity with digital advertising is a plus
2-3 years of design experience
Graphic design portfolio is required
Demonstrated Proficiency in Adobe creative suite or similar tools
