Southern California News Reporter
Commercial Observer, the nation’s leading commercial real estate publication, is looking for a news reporter to cover the retail, industrial, housing, office leasing, sales and financing real estate markets.
Responsibilities include reporting an array of daily leasing, sales and finance news on CO's website about commercial real estate in Southern California, as well as bimonthly full-length profiles about the players who have shaped Los Angeles and features about the trends affecting Southern California and commercial real estate in general.
Skill Requirements:
Applicants should be self-starters who demonstrate a real hunger for scoops
Detail oriented in making sure that stories are accurate, well written, fairly reported and turned in with respect for deadlines
Creativity in approaching stories with a unique perspective and an ability to juggle multiple deadlines
Compensation: Annual salary of $70-$75K depending on experience, plus benefits
